A Message to the World, Who's Prophet Muhammed?

This is just a brief message to the world about who's prophet Muhammed, for more information about him, please visit:

http://www.islamway.com/mohammad/

There exists a cultural vagueness in the West. This vagueness results from the presence of two different concepts. The first is a great Western concept that we respect, appraise, and need. That concept is freedom of speech. This is a great humane and civilized concept. On the other hand, there is the great Islamic concept of dignifying Allah’s Messenger (SAWS). The problem arises due to the lack of understanding of the Islamic Civilization and the Western Civilization regarding these two concepts. The non-Muslims cannot value the rank of dignifying the Prophet (SAWS). On the other hand, due to the below-average quality of practical application of freedom of speech, Muslims have a vague understanding of the concept of respecting freedom of speech.

Accordingly, what is required now? We do not want to refuse the concept of freedom of speech, absolutely not. However, the West should alter the freedom of speech so that it does not collide with the very important Islamic value of dignifying the Prophet (SAWS). Here lies the vagueness and ambiguity. The West understands very well the freedom of speech (which we appreciate) but it does not understand Islamic values, such as dignifying the Prophet (SAWS) and other Islamic sanctities. This is where the Western cultural vagueness lies.

I clearly say to the West, you have a problem. You cannot comprehend how much the Muslims love Prophet Muhammad (SAWS). You are still unable to understand this point. If you had really encompassed its significance, you would never have accepted what happened. The West, in general, governments and people, does not apprehend that Allah’s Messenger (SAWS) is dearer to us than our parents, dearer to me than my father and dearer than my mother. I am sure that any Muslim woman listening to me now, be her religious or not, will swear on that fact. Just ask, what does Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) mean to you? It is not even necessary to do that because it is so evident, but you may conduct surveys for yourselves, and you will realize how true what I am saying is. Ask any youth, be he heedless or pious; ask any Muslim anywhere, in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Yemen or in Egypt. Ask any Muslim in any village regardless of how religious he is, be he an obedient Muslim or not, a drug user or not, successful in his life or a failure, old or young, ask them, what does Allah’s Messenger (SAWS) mean to you?

O West, I affirm that Allah’s Messenger (SAWS) is dearer to all Muslims than their own parents. O West, Allah’s Messenger (SAWS) is dearer to us, Muslims, than our children and grandchildren. O West, Allah’s Messenger (SAWS) is dearer to us than our money, dearer to us than our own selves. He is dearer to us than our own countries. O Egyptian, who is dearer to you, Egypt or Allah’s Prophet? O Saudi, who is dearer to you, Saudi Arabia or Allah’s Prophet? O Yemeni, O Moroccan, O Algerian, who is dearer to you, your country or Allah’s Messenger (SAWS)? O West, comprehend that meaning, Allah’s Messenger (SAWS) is dearer to Muslims than their children and their own selves.

We can never forget the hadith that I repeatedly mentioned during the episodes of “On the Path of the Beloved”. O West, listen to this hadith[1] as it forms part of the sentimental make-up of the Islamic personality:

“We were with the Prophet and he was holding the hand of Omar Ibnul-Khattab. Omar said to him, ‘O Allah's Messenger! You are dearer to me than everything except my own self.’ The Prophet said, ‘No, by Him in Whose Hand my soul is, (you will not have complete faith) till I am dearer to you than your own self.’ Then Omar said to him, ‘However, now, by Allah, you are dearer to me than my own self.’ The Prophet said, ‘Now, O Omar, (now you are a believer).’”[2]

Being a true believer is conditioned with loving Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) more than our own selves.

O West, this is our notion and this is our love for Prophet Muhammad (SAWS).

I know that the West resists racism as they realize very well what it means. I also know that they stand up against any anti-Semitic assaults as they recognize the serious consequences of such acts. Yet, true contradiction lies in respecting Semitism and resisting racialism on the one hand, while humiliating the most valued figure for Muslims, the Prophet (SAWS), on the other.

Six months ago, a famous journalist of the BBC attacked Arabs describing them as a worthless nation. In spite of being a renowned figure with a daily program in Britain, his slandering was rejected by the British as racist and he was fired from the BBC. At that time, I was preparing a program on family matters, and knowing that he had articles and shows tackling this subject, I wanted to refer to them. To my surprise, none of his works were available due to his intolerant views against Arabs. There is no way to compare the Prophet (SAWS) to the Arabic nation, as slandering them is of a diminutive nature when compared to offending the Prophet (SAWS). My message to the West then is that freedom of speech, which we indeed respect, honor, and actually need, should be modified so that it does not clash with the highly revered Muslim value of dignifying the Prophet (SAWS). The West respects monarchies, Semitism, all races, and different ethnicities, and its respect to the Prophet (SAWS) and to sacred Muslim values should be no less.

Thus, my message to the Muslim ummah is that we should not forsake dignifying the Prophet (SAWS) under any circumstance. On the other hand, my message to the West is that the value of freedom of speech should be adapted to Muslim values.

My third message is to the whole world. This offense does not aim at the Prophet (SAWS) alone, but rather to one billion, two hundred thousand Muslims; or rather to all humanity. To explain this further to everyone, whether Muslim or not, I believe that Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) is the greatest personality that existed on earth. There is no doubt that his model of reform was most successful so far and whoever denies this fact is indeed most ungrateful. Slandering him is actually slandering humanity. Great men that existed throughout history were qualified as such due to a certain trait in their characters. Gandhi for example, was a great politician, Shakespeare a great dramatist, Voltaire a great writer, Napoleon a great military leader and so on. They were all great in one aspect or the other, while the Prophet (SAWS) was great in every aspect of his life. He was so great morally that he never hit or humiliated a soul, never beat a woman, never betrayed or lied, never went back on his word or avenged himself. He was always called 'the truthful and honest one' before bearing the message of Islam, and after becoming a prophet, the values and principles of the Qur’an were the model for his behavior. He was also great in his political insight. After the Battle of the Trench, for example, he knew that it was a turning point that would not be followed by a defeat. Moreover, he was great in his submissiveness to Allah as he bowed when praying, saying,

“O Allah, it is for Thee that I bowed. I affirm my faith in Thee and I submit to Thee, and submit humbly before Thee my hearing, my eyesight, my marrow, my bone, my sinew.”[3]

He (SAWS) also used to stand (in prayer) until both his feet swelled. When asked why (he offered such an unbearable prayer) he said,

“Should I not be a thankful slave?” [4]

He was great in the way he believed in freedom of opinion. In the Battle of Badr, he changed the location of the battlefield upon the advice of a soldier. He also agreed to dig the trench around Madinah according to Salman al-Faresy’s suggestion, and changed the fighting plan of the Battle of Uhud to respect the opinion of some of his companions. This is how he respected freedom of speech 1400 years ago!

He was great at forgiving others. On the day of the Conquest of Makkah, his companions were rejoicing saying, “Today is the day of a great battle and today Quraysh will be humiliated by Allah”. Conversely, the prophet's (SAWS) response was that today is the day of mercy in which Allah will bestow honor on Quraysh.

He was great in his voluntary renunciation of worldly luxuries when he could have been the richest man on earth had he wished to be. He was also great in the way he dealt with young people motivating them to exercise. For example, he once passed by some of the young companions of the tribe of Aslam practicing archery and he said to them,

“O offspring of Ishmael! Practice archery as your father was a great archer. I am with (on the side of) the son of so-and-so-.” Hearing that, one of the two teams stopped throwing. The Prophet (SAWS) asked them, “Why are you not throwing?” They replied, “O Allah's Apostle! How shall we throw when you are with the opposite team?” He said, “Throw, for I am with you all.”[5]

His enemies were never able to slander him due to any bad trait. He lived with them for 40 years before the divine message and another 13 years after it, and never were they able to smear him with a single bad trait that marred his character, or doubt his outstanding abilities. They even testified that he had never lied in his life. That is how great he was and that is how humiliating him smears every American, Indian, Pakistani etc.; everyone, whether Muslim or not. It is an insult to all humankind when such a great man is insulted.

He was great in his mercy. When he was persecuted by the people of At-Ta’ef and stoned until his feet kept bleeding, the angel of the mountains asked for his permission to destroy them. Yet his response was to supplicate Allah to guide them and to save them. Furthermore, in the Battle of Uhud, he was injured, overcome by his enemies, had his front teeth broken, and fell into a pit with blood gushing from his wounds. Nevertheless, when his companions asked him to curse them and to invoke Allah to punish them, he declined stressing the fact that he was sent as a mercy to all of humankind. He even invoked Allah to guide them to the right path and to excuse them for their ignorance.

He was merciful even with animals narrating that,

“A man saw a dog eating mud from (the severity of) thirst. So, that man took a shoe (and filled it) with water and kept on pouring the water for the dog till it quenched its thirst. So Allah approved of his deed and made him enter Paradise.”[6]

Similarly, he (SAWS) said,

“A woman was tortured and was put in Hell because of a cat which she had kept locked till it died of hunger.”[7]

This is our Prophet and this is how great he was. Unlike that of other great human figures in history, the Prophet’s greatness is lasting throughout the generations.

He believed in co-existence. He trusted the Jews and gave them all the rights of citizenship in Madinah, guaranteeing that no one would harm them, take any of their money, force them to convert, or intercede with their freedom to worship. He was also great in co-existence when he was against using the Muslims loyal to him in Makkah to create tension among the people of Quraysh, even during the war between Makkah and Madinah. At the time of the Hudaybeya treaty, he could have waged war against Quraysh but resorted to peace instead. He could have turned it into a bloodbath, but he chose peace and forced it on his enemies.

The human race should be proud that Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) existed one day, whether they were Muslims, Hindu, Jews, Christians, believers of any kind, or even non-believers. He is a turning point in the course of humanity. This is Muhammad (SAWS) and this is how humanity was humiliated the day he was. People around the world are demanding an international law that protects the dignity of this great Prophet.

That was my message to Muslims, to the West, and to the whole world.

One final question remains here, which is, what is it that we want? We do not need speeches. It took me some time to deliver this speech, as I believe that speeches alone cannot solve this problem. We do not even want superficial apologies that are not as deep as our wounds. We do need effective actions that denote Western respect for the Prophet (SAWS). We will not stop our protests until our Prophet regains the dignity he duly deserves as our great leader. Thus empty words and shallow apologies are not enough, actions must be taken. Until then, I need everyone to convey this message to their families and friends. I want it to be translated by Dar al-Tarjama to all languages and to be distributed everywhere to reach the West. This speech will be broadcast on Iqraa’ channel soon and I want as many people as possible to watch it. Meanwhile we should do our best to let the people know about our Prophet (SAWS). ‘On the Path of the Beloved’ for example, a program about the Prophet’s life, is being replayed now on Iqraa’ every Tuesday and Friday. Dr Tarek Suweidan, A’aed al-Qarny, Al-Habib Aly al-Jifry and Dr. Al-Buty are all renowned modern Muslims scholars who have speeches and articles about the life of the Prophet. Please do your best to make good use of their works as well as the tapes of ‘On the Path of the Beloved’ to enlighten the whole world about the Prophet (SAWS), until this predicament is unraveled and until Muslim requests are answered with real actions. Thus, what I am asking everyone to do is to distribute this message everywhere and to let everyone know about who the Prophet (SAWS) is. Our duty is double fold, we need to distribute this speech and make it available everywhere, and we need to introduce the Prophet (SAWS) and tell his story to everyone, among Muslims and non-Muslims. This speech is to be continued and I am indeed not done yet with this issue. Thank you. May peace and Allah’s blessing and mercy be upon you all, and let us get to work.

hey jim
I'm not sure whether you've readed the whole post or not but I don't think you did.
you're telling us to cope with the world but let me ask you something, if you think that all the world is doing the wrong thing and you're sure you're doing the right thing what would you do ? are you gonna cope with the world and do the wrong thing or you will keep doing the right thing because you know it's right ?
and about the USA
what are you expecting us to feel about a country which is searching for anything to destroy us
don't you watch the news ?
don't you know what happens in Afghanistan & Iraq
and about the Palestinians, what are you expecting from the Palestinians when the USA keep providing Israel with money and weapons which Israel uses to kill and eliminate them !
well, your media is corrupt anyway it's controlled by the jews and it's not me who say that, it's americans who say it so your media hides what happens in Phalestin, Afghanistan and Iraq, and unfortunately americans believe everything the watch on TV
you should know that muslims have no problems with jews, they used to live with us in peace but we do have problems with zionists
and speaking about offensive speech, do you know what Bush said after 9 / 11, he said that he is gonna flattern muslim countries, flattern'em to the ground, this racist idiot, don't think that was very peaceful was it ?
he was speaking like if that action was approved by all muslims around the world and he is gonna punish all muslims only because Bin Ladin did this !
finally I just want to say something, say what you wanna say about arabs and muslims but when it comes to our prophet which is more precious to us than ourselves, don't just do this and say it's the freedom of speech, this has nothing to do with freedom, it's pure racism
for Egypt, christians live with us and we don't do such things about them or speak with them about religion because we don't like to hurt their feelings we respect them and their religion and just live with them
you westerns should drop hatred and just learn to live in peace

1) From where you deduced this phrase?!!!
Have you ever seen a Muslim who is insulting Jesus?!
In our religion, this is not true, we can't hurt any body, we must think before saying any word about whether it could hurt anyone or not, if someone is not making this, then he's not a full Muslim.

2) When American flags is burnt, this is not related to religion or culture at all, in other words people are not burning it because they hate American neither as they are Americans nor because they hate American culture.

If those were the reasons, they yes, you could claim that Arab has behaved very badly, but the whole issue is just about politics, US made a war on Iraq, people burnt its flag for this reason, no more no less, it's just some sort of action related to a specific behaviors not related for US as US.

Also I repeated again, whom are insulting Jews?!!
If you mean Israel, it's different, because again, it's politics not religion, but if you mean the Jews as Jews, then yes, any Muslim who could insult them is very bad and he's wrong and in our religion he's not behaving as real Muslim at all.

And about your question why I don't blame Muslims for not respecting other's cultures and thoughts, really I didn't see or knew someone who's hating US or west just because of their culture not because of some politics, if I saw someone like that, then yes, AGAIN HE'S WRONG AND IAM SAYING IT LOUDLY HERE, for me as you see, Iam relocating soon to US, how I'd make it in your mind if I hate US and American culture?!

All my post here is about insulting religion, for me I can't never ever insult anyone's own religion even if he's praying a piece of wood, that because Islam has said it very load: WE CAN'T INSULT ANY ONE BECAUSE OF HIS RELIGION.

3) Who told you that Iam with violence?!
Iam against violence with all its means, starting from small kicking of asses in the small streets in Chicago to September 11 to any sort of violence EXCEPT WHEN IT'S FOR FREEDOM FIGHT (as you know like French revolution as such stuff), no the answer is not YES at all, who told you this?!
If the answer is yes, then I was not gonna post this comment at all, and I'd just walking in Egypt's streets and starting kicking every Denmark's Citizen asses I could ever meet.

No, we'll behaving in a civilized way, and that's why we're boycotting Denmark's stuff right now, we're just behaving in a very civilized why of showing our anger and our sadness for what has happened.

4) Yes, you're true about this, and that's what we're doing now
Do you know why?!
Have we ever complained about the VERY DIFFERENT type of dealing with Arab and Muslims more than any other nationalities?!!
As example if you're traveling to US and get your transit in Holland as example, they will make some sort of bad dialog with you on why you're moving to US and to where and many other questions like you're just a criminal only because you're Arabian, not because of any previous violence history in your records or any thing like that, have we complained on this?!!

The answer is simply NO

Also, when we got a very very dirty dealing from people in some places in US and Europe just because you're Arabian, and they start to behave with you like as you're just an animal, is this true?
No
Have we made a revolution for this?!
No
Have we made all what we're making now?!
The simple answer is NO

We've just made this now, because in our religion, it's free for us to like or dislike many kind of actions, but when it comes to our religion and our prophet Muhammad whom we do love more than our-selves, then it's NO, we can't simply make it pass without showing to the whole world that this is not true, at least for not repeating it again and every day

Finally I hope I've answered all your questions, and please think about every word well, we love peajce, we do love all people, and we don't hate any one because of his religion nor because of his culture, when we hate someone, it's be because of his behavior only.

Meshref,

You didn't mention the very racial diffrentiation TILL this moment between black and white ppl in USA !!!

Have u heard of such a thing in any muslim country ? Of course not!

So who's the racist here??

Search history and u'll find evidences.

Our religion Islam's image has been distorted by some ignorent and misbehaving persons bombing embassies and killing innocents ,claiming their love to islam .. they didn't gain anything from such irrational actions , just showing aggression and violence on behalf of Islam , they're not representative to Islam by any means only a disgrace.

I just don't understand why did they insult our prophet ??
He brought peace to the world , he brought Islam... if only we follow his steps!

Anonymous said...

1- If islam is a religion of peace, why is it OK to kill someone who converts from islam to any other religion?

2-If you meshref haven't insulted Jesus or persecuted christian or jews then that's good, but there are a lot others who did, and you doesn't know this fact doesn't mean it's not true.

3-You said those who insult other religions are not true muslims.
I say to you that they are just doing what's in the Quran.
Good muslims are the ones who do not get too religious, because those who get too religious and read carefully the islam laws, they find commandments of killing and violence for non-believers.

4-I might be wrong but Islam says in paradise every believer will have 7 virgins of his own or something like that, is that why you worship God?

I know you are such a good guy, you are smart, ambitious faithful to your religion.
I'm against the cartoon, don't get me wrong, but I'm against the over-reacting muslims around the world as well.
I apologize if any of my words hurt you.
p.s
Americans are not angels, but they do whatever it takes to protect their country, and they are not racist, when you come to america you will see for yourself.

Someone out there,

You obviously know zero about Islam , and the things u said were just a superficial analysis to this religion , you shouldn't have stated points about what u called "Laws of Islam" unless u really have a real knowledge instead of mocking it this way.

1- If islam is a religion of peace, why is it OK to kill someone who converts from islam to any other religion?

Who said it was OK to kill somebody ? did u read that in Quran ?? did u find any verse which supports this fact u r claiming?? if someone did that, does it make it a "Law" in Islam?

2-If you meshref haven't insulted Jesus or persecuted christian or jews then that's good, but there are a lot others who did, and you doesn't know this fact doesn't mean it's not true.

I'll tell u one of the "Laws" in Islam about previous Prophets to Muhamed (SAWS), we should believe in all prophets and the message or religion they were sent with , cause simply all of them were sent for one purpose , which is worshiping Allah.

3-I say to you that they are just doing what's in the Quran.

Like I said , don't claim facts stated in Quran unless u did read it.
Good muslims are the ones who do not get too religious, because those who get too religious and read carefully the islam laws, they find commandments of killing and violence for non-believers.

Some categories of Muslims misinterpret the verses in Quran and they're applying it blindly , does this make the Quran a religion of violence? of course not!!
Our Dear Prophet Muhamed (SAWS) was always calling for spreading peace , it's the way of increasing love among people.
Allah sent him mercy upon mankind..that's in Quran by the way.

4-Islam says in paradise every believer will have 7 virgins of his own or something like that, is that why you worship God?

You're absolutely wrong!
I won't go into details about describing paradise , cause simply it's indescripable , and what u mentioned here is a very superficial thing that i don't think any Muslim will pray to Allah for it! this is an animal desire which is totally contradicting with the spiritual growth any religion (Not only Islam) is aiming for.

First of all if that is not you meshref who sent that last post, i apologize for replying and having a discussion on your own blog that is not with you.

1- I didn't read in the Quran that it is OK to kill a converter, but this is the law in Islam: "el mortad dammo 7alal", and don't tell me that is not true, because i'm sure about this point.

2- Jesus christ is not a prophet, and islam doesn't believe in his crucification, and in turn muslims call christians "kafara" and "moshrekeen".
why do you say "Allah", why don't you just say GOD, it's just the translation

3-I partially agree with you on this point.

4-Whether superficial or not, it is true and it is in the Quran.
i can tell you where exactly it is if you want. (just let me know if you can't find it)
So what kinda reward is that to have women or virgins "7ooryat" in the after life?

I really respect your civilized and moral manner in your reply.
I'm sorry if i sounded to you as if i was mocking in my previous post, trust me i was not, at least i didn't meant to.

Thanks for your time.

Mohamed Moshrif said...

Ok, let's answer you for your first post:

1- This is for Muslims, Are you muslim?!
If you want to know why, let's discuss a lot of things first, as example, what the meaning of being fast in your religion and you're just fasting from things that have soul?!
Would you like me to list tons of things about this?!
Not only this, would you like me to list many phrases in your holy book talking about killing people for reasons (from our point of view) which are really weird?!
So leave talking in Islam to its proper place, I haven't mentioned Christians here, it's a post about Muhammed and Cartoon if you understand this.
So I won't tell you why this is valid and the true meaning for it (it's not as simple as just kill those who convert!!)

2- And many of you also has made the same, but being public and in newspaper is something and between people is another thing (of course you have heard about the Paltalk room and Hakeka channel).

3- "I say to you that they are just doing what's in the Quran"

So as you're saying here, and as one who's knowing "EXACTLY" what the Quran is saying, let's share your knowledge and bring me what's Quran saying in this point,
And to make it more clear for you
Remember the Romans?!
Remember when they were killing you?!
Remember Amr Ebn El Ass?!
Remember that you in the past has asked him to save you?!!!
The only part of Quran which is saying to kill people is like this only:

"Kill those whom are killing you"

Which is the simplest rule ever in defending your country, having you fought in 6 October or it was muslims only?!!!!

4- What's the kind of this question at all?!!!
This is a type of question that you know exactly it's answer, so let's switch it, why you worship God?

5- Who said that American are angels?!

Now to the second post.

1- Answered before.

2- What's the relation between your first part and second part of your question?!
And to answer it, Quran is calling you "Ketabeyen" not "kafara", and to take words from Muslims, take ot from Quran, because if it's just Muslims word, I could tell you millions of phrases from Christians which are against your holy book too.
And about God and Allah matter, it's not as you think, many of us use God or Allah, it's just as we know that we've one God whose name is Allah, so why you name him by God?!
In other Words, I know your name is X, why I call you Mr. Guy and not Mr. X?!!
It's simple, right?!

4- Answered before.

finally the thing that you don't know, is that I've spent about 7-8 months reading in "El 3ahd el 2adem" wel "gedid", and from many "Anagel" throughing down all what I've heard from many people about Christianity.
And has just thought about it using my mind.

Though, I know in the both religions right now, so in order for it to be valid, go and spend 7-8 months reading in Islam and then come back to talk with me, because I haven't created this blog to work as a place to convence people to convert!

Mohamed Moshrif said...

And just a small question here:

"I know you are such a good guy, you are smart, ambitious faithful to your religion"

So it seems you know me, so why you can't be brave and just mention your real name?!

And the last thing to say here, if you really want to continue this till the end, and you've the real intension to know the truth, let's continue it over email, let me know if you want this, but before you say yes, you must know the following:

1- You must talk and think in the way of "Thinking about it" no the way of "Just proving to him that he's not true and Iam true" and of course you know the difference, the first one you'll be convenced if you found that Iam true, and in the second one, you'll just leave if you found me true.

2- Convence here means 2 different steps, in other words to make me convert to yours, it's not just convencing me that Islam is wrong or Christianity is the truth
No, it's two steps, first to convence me that Islam is wrong and after this once, to convence me that Christianity is the truth and why not any other religion.

As I told you before, I've read in both religions (actually the three because "3ahd 2adem is nothing but Tawrah", so I used my mind to choose among them the most one which makes me convenced.

Yes, I agree with you that we've somethings in Islam which couldn't be understood will without asking someone for its meaning, but the numbers of such things in the other two religion is really about 1000000000x, which in turns is simple:

For me islam is the most religion up-till now which is convencing me, if it's wrong, then no other "known" religion is true.

Anonymous said...

-you are right, this is not the right place to talk about it.I'm sorry.

-I didn't use my name in the posting coz you don't know me, so my name wouldn't matter, I only know you from your blog, and i came across your blog from another friend's blog.

-about what happens on the paltalk, i'm totally against cursing and insulting each others.
But i want to tell you one thing honestly about what happens on "kanat el 7ayah", whoever is talking there, is saying a lot of things that are true, but it is being said in an inappropriate way.

-Just one thing i want to reply from the many points that i wanted to reply but i don't want to clog your email with these kinda discussions, so just listen to it and think about it, you don't have to reply, you said that islam says "Kill those who are killing you", and i'm telling you that christianity says "love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you"

Lastly, you said things about convincing each others to know the truth. But at the very end you said "if islam wrong, then no other known religion is true."

if you meshref want to continue let me know, and i will email you my address to discuss it.
And i agree to your rules of discussion.
rabena ma3ak.

Mohamed Moshrif said...

1- About kanat el hayah, if it was really true and their intension is clear, why not making it as real dicsussions and invite some muslims and Sheyo7' and make it as civilized dialog between them?!!!!
Answer?!

2- Then, First of all, there's a great difference between LOVE YOU ENEMIES and KILL THOSE WHOM ARE KILLING YOU, and again let's ask the same question which you haven't answer:

IN 6 OCTOBER 1973, was it us only as Muslims whom are fighting, or you were with us?!!!

IF both, then you've answered it by yourself!!!
About love you enemies, it was clear that our Prophet Muhammed hasn't cursed his enemies although they have hurted him, it's knows from history too about Salah el Den as you know, Salebeyen were killing people and Salah el den was not, so could we say here that this was Christianity?!!

3- If you want to continue it, yes I accept, but as I said before, read on Islam as I've read on Christianity, because not to waste time on clearing things for you that you could understand it if you've read on Islam for one week, then after you read in it for 7-8 months as I did then after that we could make a very civilized dialog wherever you want, at this time you'll be ready to CONVINCE not just to TALK.

Just to make the last point as clear as i can, what I mean by read first is simple and known well, which simply means, for any dialog like this to be successful, the both parties must have the same level of knowledge, which simply turns into, either you and I know our religion only, or we both know well about the both religions, it can't be me who knows and read in both with you who knows well about one of them and the other one is just hearing from places like Hayah Channel and such sources.

And by the way, there's another question I had forgot to ask:

What about when a christians change their religion to Islam?!!

Don't tell me that it's normal, because this time I know it personally because I know in person (I swear it's true) 3 christians whom have convented, one of them was "Ases" and they told me what do you do when someone converts and believe me, it's harder than Islam, so remove this point completely as what you do is really more than what we "as you HEAR not as you KNOW" are doing!!

Salamu 3alaikom every body
it's the first time for me to write in meshref's blog..When i saw the subject you were talking about and read the comments i couldn't stay silent any more
so please accept me here with you

someone out there:
1-Do you know that Muslims faith (Iman)is incomplete until they believe in Jesus and Moses (3alayhema Assalam)? and it's '7aram' to insult any one of Allah's prophets or his holly books.

2-We are ordered to respect all religions and all people of diferent religions, and we never say that you are 'kafara'..on the contrary ,Allah says in the Quraan that Christians are the most friendly people to Muslims.

3-You were a bit tough in your comments when talking about our rules..may be because you don't know so I suggest-like Meshref said-that you read more about Islam to take the whole picture

4-You must know something very important: Sayedna Muhammad (Salla Allahu 3alayihi wa sallam) is not just our prophet...he is -for Muslims-the greatest man in all mankind ,, and we love him even more than ourselves ,so this reaction towards the cartoons is a normal reaction in such a situation
and what we did was our right to defend our dear prophet.

sorry for writing so long..hope that u got my idea

And another comment over love your enemies part, I think you haven't even read this post to talk about reading about Islam because if you did that, you were gonna find this:

"He was great at forgiving others. On the day of the Conquest of Makkah, his companions were rejoicing saying, “Today is the day of a great battle and today Quraysh will be humiliated by Allah”. Conversely, the prophet's (SAWS) response was that today is the day of mercy in which Allah will bestow honor on Quraysh"

Also this:

"He was great in his mercy. He even invoked Allah to guide them to the right path and to excuse them for their ignorance."

Just as I always say, the most bad habit in all Egyptians and Arab that they don't read, read first about Islam then come and continue talking

dina sherif, i really like and respect your way of talking. meshref you are a bit angry, and you have too many contradictions in your words.
anyways, i lost interest in this discussion, and don't think i had nothing to say anymore, it's just debating by typing and posting comments is not very efficient.
this subject is huge and we are approaching it the wrong way.(at least from my point of view)

I have few points to tell you:

1-Don't consider yourself know christianity just because you read the bible for 8 or 9 months, this can be taken against you not for you.

2-Don't judge a religion by it's people, because if everybody did that, you will find no good religion ever existed on earth.
You rather should judge by the religion's commandments and laws.

3-Try to be a little more open minded, don't defend without understanding the other's point of view, and start listing other points not related to the questions.

4-One question i have to you and keep the answer for yourself:
Why is the Quran in just arabic and can't be translated to any other language? Does god do not know how to speak any other languages?
Does the whole world have to learn arabic to be muslims?

It doesn't make sense to me man.
And trust me, it won't make sense to a lot of people out there.

I'm done.
no more postings for me.
Thanks for your time dude.

Very nice, you answered yourself:

1- You're the one that's making contradictions here, you're saying that 7-8 months are not enough to understand christianity well and you as a ONE WHO HASN'T EVEN READ FOR ONE MONTH ABOUT ISLAM, COME AND TALK ABOUT IT, now who's the one who making contradictions in his speech?!!
The 7-8 months are enough for me, and if you don't see this, do as I told you, read as I have read and then come to talk.

2- It's very nice, you finally admit it, then now don't come and talk about those whom are calling you "Kafara" And those whom are killing with the name of Islam.

3- As far as i know, you're the one who's doing so, as every time I ask you some questions and you answer nothing while I usually answer yours!!!

4- Who told you this!!!!
This is really proves that you know nothing at all about islam!!!
Quran is translated to English and every single language in the world!!!
Aren't you from earth?!

Please JUST READ MORE, you're proving nothing except that you've read nothing, believe me this is more bad for your point of view.

Mohamed Moshrif said...

It seems I understood the point of translation wrong, so here you the modified reply about it, from Quran Miracles is the Language Miracles, because when it has appeared, all what the Arab were caring about is this miracle, you can't of course come and tell them that the earth is containing one big circular break or any thing like that, so this why it comes in Arabic.

Now why it's not having many versions in many language, it's clear and obvious, as you know this:

انا نحن نزلنا الذكر وإنا له لحافظون

which won't be valid ever if the Quran has many versions every version with its own language because as you know if you've translated any single sentence to english from arabic or the inverse, you could create a type of miss in the meaning which may direct people to understand it in different way, as a very simple example for this:

انتن جميلات

When translated to english it will be:

You're pretty

So in arabic we know well that we're talking to a group of pretty girls, but in english you can't decide wether you're talking to a man or a women or a group of men or a group of women or group of both, so if there're many versions in many language, this:
انا نحن نزلنا الذكر وإنا له لحافظون

Won't be valid anymore, but this doesn't mean that it has no translation for its meaning in many languages.

Now as you see now Iam again answering all your questions and you answer nothing from mine.

Please, if you want to know the truth about Islam, don't rush and jump to decisions, without going more deep.
Give yourself a chance to know. It worth your time, believe me.
Just give yourself the chance, and you are welcomed to be a better Muslim, even better than most of the current Muslims, which most of them unfortunately don't know enough about Islam.

It's all about knowledge.
It depends on you.
Focus on the core.
Be honest. It's one life, we don't live forever.

Anyone is welcomed to be a better Muslim.

Do you have the courage to take your decisions yourself?
